To be a successful Supply Learning Support Assistant, you will have the following skills and experience:

  • Passion for working with children and the ability to be friendly, flexible, and reliable

  • Patience and empathy, with the ability to adapt to different learning needs

  • Being organised and able to work independently and as part of a team

  • Demonstrating commitment to supporting pupils’ progress and wellbeing

  • Excellent communication skills

  • The ability to communicate through Welsh is desirable

  • Current DBS or Update Service registration, or willingness to complete one

  • Registration with the Education Workforce Council or willingness to register

  • At least two referees
